Black ice shuts road near Wakefield
Icy conditions have closed a road near Netherton.
Following rain last night and temperatures dipping below freezing, many roads in the district have been covered in black ice and making driving difficult.
Blacker Lane is shut in both directions between the A636 Denby Dale Road and B6117 Netherton Lane and causing traffic issues.
Reported just before 9am, traffic is currently backed up along Barnsely Road.
