Cannabis factory shut down
A cannabis factory in Peacock estate has been shut down by police.
Police raided the property on Walnut Avenue this morning after receiving information that a large cannabis farm was being grown.
Inside the property officers found drug paraphernalia and a large crop of the Class B drug.
A police spokesperson said: “This is a sophisticated operation which consisted of a full hydroponics set up consisting of an intricate electrical system, silver foil, heating and water pumps.
“A woman has been arrested and is currently being questioned.”
