Car hits tree in road smash

Traffic is being diverted following a crash near Horbury Bridge this morning in a which a car hit a tree.

Reports came in of a silver VW Golf leaving the road and crashing on Hostingley Lane shortly before 8.30am.

There are no reports of any injuries but an ambulance was called as a precaution.
