Christmas charity post is underway

The countdown to Christmas is underway and the Rotary Club of Wakefield has announced the last date for its charity post service.

If you are sending Christmas cards to certain areas of the city you may be able to use the Wakefield charity Christmas post and raise money for the Rotary Club of Wakefield Trust Fund.

Charity stamps cost 30p and are available from posting points across the district.

Cards must be posted in one of the special boxes and not in Royal Mail postboxes.

The last date for posting is Monday, December 15.

Cards can be delivered to anywhere in postcode areas WF1, WF2 or Calder Grove, Crigglestone, Durkar, Great Cliff, Hall Green, Notton, Painthorpe, West Bretton or Woolley.
