Emergency services were called to Quarry Hill at around 8.15am following a crash involving three cars.
A police spokeswoman said a black Vauxhall Corsa, a grey Nissan Qashqai and a black Volkswagen Transporter were involved in the collision.
She said no-one has been injured in the incident but it is causing lengthy delays in the area.
