Company fined over motoring offence
A company has been forced to pay out £1,467 in fines and costs after failing to identify one of its drivers accused of a motoring offence.
Yorkshire Halal Meat Supplier Ltd, based on Wakefield Road, Flushdyke, failed to appear at Leeds Magistrates’ Court and the case involving the Audi A6 was proved in its absence.
They were hit with a £770 fine and forced to pay out £697 in costs.
