Con men target 99-year-old’s Castleford home
A pair of con men tricked their way into the home of a 99-year-old woman in an attempted burglary in Castleford.
One of the men told the pensioner they were looking for a tennis ball while the other rummaged through the woman’s Front Street home on Saturday, July 25.
The suspects were then disturbed by a neighbour before leaving.
