Hammer yob hunted by police in Castleford

Police are investigating criminal damage in Castleford town centre after eight businesses had their windows smashed with a hammer.

It happened in the early hours of Saturday, November 14, along with damage caused to two bus stops.

Although the man’s face is not identifiable, police have shared the image as part of the investigation to see if anyone recognises his clothing or perhaps saw a male wearing a similar large backpack, fishing hat and black coat in the local area.
