Pair wanted in connection with serious assault after man nearly blinded with broken bottle
Police are appealing for the public’s help in reporting any sightings of two men who are wanted on suspicion of a serious assault in South Elmsall in 2024.
An appeal was previously made which included CCTV images of two men detectives were looking to identify in connection with an assault on a man at The Little Un pub, in Spring Terrace, on March 2, 2024.
The victim of this assault was nearly blinded after being struck to the face with a broken bottle.
A number of members of the public came forward off the back of the appeal and, alongside police enquiries, two suspects have been identified.
Officers have been conducting numerous enquiries behind the scenes, including arrest enquiries for Aurel Lleshaj, 27, and Marcel (or Marsel) Pepa, 31, but at this time their whereabouts are unknown.
Both men are known to have connections to the Doncaster area.
