Thief who stole £57,000 worth of rail cable in Wakefield to be sentenced next year
A thief who admitted stealing valuable railway cabling is to be sentenced early next year.
Andrew Holland was due to learn his fate at Leeds Crown Court on December 23, but the case was adjourned.
It was heard that the 38-year-old had been recalled to prison and was not available for the hearing.
His sentencing was rescheduled for January 22.

Holland, of Denmark Street, Wakefield, had previously pleaded guilty to stealing more than £57,000 worth of railway cabling, according to court records.
It had been taken from Oakenshaw junction, on Black Road, Heath, on May 19.
The cabling, which belongs to Nation Rail, is often stolen due to its high-value scrap value, particularly copper.
However, it can often lead to massive disruption on the railways due to signal failures.
