The pair brazenly walked into Knottingley Town Hall yesterday morning, Tuesday March 10, at around 11.30am and took four hampers filled with the chocolate treats.

The eggs had been donated and were to be raffled off to raise cash to help send youngsters from the Kristina Gelder School of Dance on a dream trip to Disney.

The young dancers are due to perform at the Paris resort in August.

Kristina Gelder said: "They have stolen from children, that's really low.

"I have an idea that they knew they were there, there's lots of room and doors before you get to that room.

"The CCTV show one of them taking two of the hampers, then another comes in and takes the other two.

"It's a bit obvious, walking out with hampers covered in cellophane with a big bow on the top. You can't exactly put them in your pocket."

It is not the first time the dance school ha fallen victim to thieves. Four years more than £800 was stolen by thieves - cash that was raised by a sponsored bag pack to help send that crop of youngsters to Disney.

Anyone with details on the latest thefts or can identify the individuals caught on CCTV are being asked to contact police on 101.
