Tribute paid to Wakefield taxi worker found murdered
The body of 50-year-old Nadeem Butt was found at a house in Manchester on the afternoon of Wednesday, August 5, following what police have described as a serious assault.
Mr Butt was well known in the Wakefield area having worked in the city for a number of years manning the phones for various cab firms.

Hide AdWakefield taxi driver Wajid Ali said: "Nadeem was a gentle soul, very quiet and more over a humble individual who was well respected within Wakefield and the wider taxi community.
"The taxi community is shocked to learn about Nadeem's death and more shocking to learn that a murder investigation has been launched.
"On behalf of the taxi community my sincere condolences to his family who still live in Wakefield and my upmost regret that Nadeem was taken so soon."
Mr Butt's body was found at a property in the Cheetham Hill area of Manchester.
Police are now trying to piece together his last movements before the attack.
No arrests have been made yet.
