VIDEO: Pub closed after large-scale fight breaks out
A Pontefract pub was forced to shut and the police were called after a large-scale fight broke out on Sunday teatime.

Around 15 people appeared to be involved in the scuffle that was captured by a customer in the Broken Bridge pub on Horse Fair.
Everyone was asked to leave and the police were called.
A spokesman for the police said: "“Police were called to a report of a disturbance at licensed premises in Pontefract at 4.52pm on Sunday.

Hide Ad“Those present on arrival left the premises when asked to do so. No injuries were reported.
“Following liaison with the manager the pub was closed for a short time.
“The manager was also advised that the premises would be closed down if police were required to return the same evening.”
It comes after pubs were finally re-opened on Saturday after three months of lockdown.
