West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said they had been called to Cow Lane, Havercroft, at 6.26pm to reports of a two car collision.
One woman had become trapped in a vehicle and had to be cut out by fire crews.
She was then transported to hospital by ambulance, though her injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

It is understood that the driver of the other vehicle fled the scene of the incident.
The road remained closed for several hours.
Crews from South Kirkby and Featherstone attended the incident.
Ambulance crews and police also attended the incident.
