The procession wheeled its way from Doncaster Road in Ferrybridge through the streets to Knottingley. Those without a float dressed in a variety of weird and wacky outfits to join the procession.

The parade ended at Knottingley Sports Centre, where visitors enjoyed a family fun day with stalls, a bouncy castle, donkey rides and a funfair.

There was also a gun dog display team, a fancy dress competition, classic cars and craft stalls. The event was organised by the Knottingley and Ferrybridge Carnival Committee.
