She said: “There has been no closure and as time goes by you just get more anxious. They say time is a good healer but it really isn’t.

“You are just on tenterhooks all the time wondering if he will turn up. It has devastated our whole family.”

Ms Judge described her father as a “quiet man, who kept himself to himself”. She said his disappearance was “totally out of character”.

“Life really does not get any easier.

“I just cannot believe that he has not turned up or been seen anywhere since his disappearance and believe that someone surely knows something. I urge anyone who can provide any information as to his whereabouts to come forward.

“Any conversations that anyone may have had with him before his disappearance could at least give us a clue as to where he may be or what has happened to him.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101.
