Driver crashes into five vehicles after chase through Pontefract
A man has been arrested after a police chase through Pontefract yesterday (Sunday).
Officers from Pontefract and Knottingley neighbourhood policing team (NPT) chased a car before it crashed into five other vehicles on Front Street at around 4.30pm.
Police said the driver then tried to flee on foot but was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving.
He has released on police bail pending further enquiries.
