West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed yesterday (Thursday) that they had been called to reports of a fire on Bryan Close, Castleford
During the blaze, a large explosion was reported at the property, causing significant damage to the house.

Hide AdFive crews were called to help tackle the blaze, and nearby homes were reportedly evacuated.
Smoke from the blaze could be seen for miles around, and photos from the scene show smoke-damaged walls and windows on the building.
A spokesperson for WYFRS said: "We were called at 13.27 to reports of a fire in a property on Bryan Close in Castleford.
"Five fire engines attended.
"Crews are still damping down with three fire engines still in attendance, plus an aerial ladder platform.
