Four rescued from flat fire in Castleford
Four people needed treatment after a flat fire broke out in Castleford last night.
Crews were called to the ground-floor flat Laburnum Court shortly after 9pm.
The four people had to be rescued and were treated for smoke inhalation.

Hide AdFour firefighters used breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, while a pressure ventilation was used to clear the smoke.
The crews were from Castleford, Normanton, Pontefract and Featherstone.
The fire service said the flat was fitted with a working smoke alarm.
