This is the full list of road closures for the Wakefield Hospice 10k route 2019

A number of road closures will be in place for the Wakefield Hospice 10k this weekend.

A number of road closures will be in place for the Wakefield Hospice 10k this weekend.

Thousands of people are expected to take place in the run on Sunday, March 24, which raises money for charity. The following roads will be closed between 6am and 11am, unless otherwise stated. For a list of roads which will be partially or temporarily closed during the race, click here.

The 10k will begin on Park Avenue, to the north of Clarence Park. There will be no traffic movement on this road until the race has finished.
There will be no traffic movement on Wauchope Street, accessible via Park Avenue, until the race has finished.
There will be no traffic movement on St James's Court, accessible via Park Avenue, until the race has finished.
There will be no traffic movement on Symons Street, accessible via Park Avenue, until the race has finished.
The 10k run will progress along Lawefield Lane, and no traffic movement will be allowed until the race has finished.
There will be no traffic movement on Ryburn Place, accessible via Park Avenue, until the race has finished.
Mayfield Court, off Park Grove Road, will be closed until the race is finished.
Runners will also travel along Park Grove Road, which will remain closed.
Lawefield Way, accessible via Lawefield Lane, will be closed to traffic until the race has finished.
Accessible via Park Grove Road, St Michel's House will be closed for the duration of the race.
Barrass Yard, off Park Grove Road, will be closed to all traffic until the race is finished.
Clarence Walk, off Park Grove Road, will be closed to all traffic for the duration of the race.
Access to and from properties along the length of Northfield Lane will be restricted, and will be available only when the majority of runners have passed key points. The road will be fully opened by 10.30am.
Access to and from properties along the length of Horbury Road will be restricted, and will be available only when the majority of runners have passed key points. The road will be fully open by 10.30am.
Horbury Road will be closed to all traffic between Westgate and Thorbury for the duration of the race.
Access to properties on Southfield Lane will also be restricted until the majority of runners have passed. The road will be fully opened by 10.30am.
Those living on Gill Sike Road will also have restricted access during the race, until the majority of runners have passed through. The road will open by 10.30am.
Access to Gill Sike Bungalows will be restricted until the majority of runners have passed by. The road will be fully open by 10.30am.
Access to properties on Thornbury Road will be restricted until the majority of runners have passed the checkpoints. The road will be fully open by 10.30am.
