International graffiti artists jetting into Horbury

Graffiti artists will jet in from Europe to help finish off a community project which has transformed a bridge.

Revive Urban Arts (RUA) will be back at the bridge on Green Lane, Horbury Junction, on Saturday, August 24.

Organiser Martin Hayhurst said: “In previous months this location has seen two successful projects both ran by RUA as part of the regeneration of our city.

“This is the final leg in the 2013 project to transform the previously run down lifeless location.

“The public response has been overwhelming and the site has quickly become a landmark.”

The group has invited people down to the motorway underpass to join in from 9am.

People can watch the artists, join in and enjoy refreshments.
