Man held after house blaze
A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted arson after a house blaze in Ossett last night (Tuesday).
The 18-year-old, who is from the town, is being held in connection with the incident at Old Church Street.
Firefighters from Ossett and a water tender from Dewsbury were called to the property at around 9pm and found the second floor staircase of the house on fire.
Crews used hose reels and breathing apparatus at the scene and left at around 11.30pm.
