Multi-vehicle accident closes M606
A multi-vehicle accident has closed the M606 northbound near Bradford this afternoon (Tuesday).
Emergency services were called to the scene near junction three at Staithgate at around 2pm.
Police said four vehicles were invloved in the accident and one person was seriously injured in the accident.
Both the northbound and southbound carriageways were closed to allow the air ambulance to land but the southbound carriageway has now reopened.
Drivers have been told to expect delays.
