Multiple bin fires on street started deliberately
Wheeled bins were deliberately set on fire in Knottingley in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).
Staff from Pontefract Fire Station rushed to Belvoir Drive at around 2.15am, where three bins were ablaze and had to be extinguished.
Police were also at the scene, where more bins had apparently been on fire.
A spokesman for Pontefract Fire Station said the fires were started deliberately on bins which had been left outside homes.
Nobody was injured and enquiries are ongoing.
