Normanton Camera Club to show its best pictures
You can see hundreds more at the club’s annual exhibition at St John’s Terrace WMC in Normanton from 7pm on Tuesday, February 9.

Hide AdThe exhibition will see members’ best work of the previous year being displayed and judged. Already, 175 mounted photographs have been judged by Peter Thompson and 105 digital projected images have been ruled on by Rodney Smith and Helen Smith.
The exhibition will be opened by the Mayor of Normanton, Coun Denton Jones. He will be accompanied by Mayoress Coun Hazel Jones, who will present the awards. Club spokeswoman Avril Jackson said: “Normanton Camera Club, which was founded in 1960, has a wealth of experience to share with new members every Tuesday evening at St John’s Terrace and Saturday afternoons at the Community Centre, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Normanton.
“The club’s objectives are to promote the highest standards of photography and of processing print or projected images.
“We hold regular displays of photographs at Normanton Library and further details of work and club activities can be found at www.normantoncameraclub.co.uk.”
