The National Lottery is urging players across Wakefield to check their tickets carefully after someone in the city has won a life-altering £1million prize.
The missing ticket-holder purchased their winning Lotto ticket in Wakefield for a draw on August 8, 2026. The player matched five main numbers and the bonus ball to secure the £1m prize.
The winning numbers in 'Round 2' of the Lotto draw were 12, 14, 16, 22, 29, 59, Bonus Ball 58 and the lucky ticket-holder has until midnight on February 1, 2027, to claim their prize.
