Residents of Colliers Court have been helping each other out with odd jobs and tasks throughout lockdown.

From making scarecrows for their gardens, celebrating VE Day with flags and bunting, Halloween and Bonfire Night, they all decided to remember the fallen for Remembrance Day.

Vicky Anguigesaid: "Many people didn't know each other due to busy lives, but a Facebook group was set up to support each other and offer a neighbourhood watch.

"Many of us still haven't met due to the current climate, however we've become good friends, offering support for anything from sharing DVDs to tin foil so tin didn't burn! All socially distant of course from the end of our gardens.

"We started at the beginning of the first lockdown by making scarecrows for our gardens to give people something to see on their walks.

"We celebrated VE Day by decorating the streets with flags and bunting, and each had a chair at the end of our driveways.

"We've had trick or treat, celebrated Bonfire Night and the decided to paint poppies, colour and draw to flood our windows in red for Remembrance Day."
