Jack's supermarket makes generous donation to Pontefract Community Kitchen

Pontefract Community Kitchen received a generous donation from Jack's supermarket to help their wonderful work in the local community.

Pontefract Community Kitchen are a group of volunteers who have been feeding people in need by collecting donations, serving hot food and preparing meal packages.

The charity received a food donation from Jack's Supermarket, on Ings Road, consisting of longlife essentials such as pasta, tinned food, biscuits and much more.

Ann Lancaster, from Pontefract Community Kitchen, said: "A massive thank you to Jack's Supermarket for this amazing donation. We so much appreciate all the help and support we receive."

Michael Ward, Store Manager of Jack's Wakefield, said: "Pontefract Community Kitchen are a wonderful organisation and everyone at Jack's is very proud to support their efforts.
