The NHS Spitfire is set to fly over Yorkshire today

The NHS Spitfire is set to attempt a flight over the North of England today - after bad weather caused an attempt to be halted last week.

Last week, a wall of cloud turned up over the North East and put a stop to an attempt to fly over the area.

The aircraft was forced to make a u-turn and return to Duxford Airfield.

However, better weather is expected today and a new attempt will be made to fly over the skies of Yorkshire and beyond.
