'Our Wakefield #HealthHero support workers go above and beyond to help people'

A team of support workers who go above and beyond to help people have been nominated Express #HealthHeroes.

Shelly Lewis and her colleagues at Dimenson UK help people with learning difficulties in the Wakefied, Ossett and Castleford areas.

Shelly said: "We support with relationships, families, friends and partnerships. We also have fun too, we go to cinema, bowling, day trips, holidays.

"But most of all we love our jobs and we support each other as a team in and out of work and as a bunch of women we work together we don’t have any amniosity between us, we work for the best of our client group.

"I think our team is special because we all go above and beyond just work, we have gain friendships and what feels like an extended family while continually staying within all our proffesional boundaries."
