The blueprints were submitted to Wakefield Council’s planning department for the overhaul of Kellingley Social Pavilion on Marine Villa Road in Knottingley.

This includes enlarging the pavilion’s space by 44m sq, while internally the space will be reconfigured to create four new changing rooms and WC provisions.

The plans also show showers and a kitchen being installed on the site. Externally, the building will have a new roof put in place while the entire building will be painted.
