Pontefract artist paints Banksy-style mural on pub wall, and everyone is talking about it

The impressive painting was added to the wall of Horse Vaults in the early hours of this morning.
It shows a nurse in uniform, complete with face mask and dripping brush and tin in hand, after painting the NHS logo on the wall.

Many have compared it to the work of famous street artist, Banksy, whose subversive work is often left on walls in cities and towns around Britain.
Landlord, Gary Stocks, 53, explained: "We've been painting the outside of the pub and I put on Facebook if anyone could do an NHS banner at cost for the outside wall, because it's such a big wall.
"I was put in touch with this girl who said she did spray painting.

"She must have done it in the early hours of the morning.
"I didn't ask for it but she has done such a good job. It looks excellent.
"Everybody has been talking about it and leaving really nice comments, it's just gone mad.
"It looks like Banksy has done it. I'm going to keep it if we can."

She said: "Well seeing as though the cat's out of the bag... Me freezing at 6am to do this. Share if you care."
