Superheroes flew onto the streets in Ossett throughout lockdown to wish children a happy birthday on their special day, whilst raising more than  £4,000 for Forget Me Not Children's Hospice.

Members of Fit Together visited a grand total of 89 houses, filling the streets to sing happy birthday to children on their special day.

Paula Appleton, from Walking Fit, said: "Not only did it cheer the community up but it was something quite special and it really boosted all our mental health as a group.

"There were some heartbreaking times but it was also heartwarming to see those smiles."

The group of superheroes included Mr Incredible, Batman and Superwoman.
