The run, which will begin and end in Pontefract Park and will also go through North Featherstone and Ackton , is now in its third year.
It is the first time it has been organised by the team behind the Pontefract Half Marathon.
Starting at 9.30am this Sunday, road closures will be in place along Park Lane, Willow Lane in North Featherstone, Cutsyke Road, Castleford Lane and Ackton Lane in Ackton.
