The city will be dressed in its own scary costume with black crows, cobwebs, rats, and tarantulas in outdoor spaces and shop windows on Friday, October 28 and Saturday, October 29 from 10am – 4pm.

People will be able to enjoy two creepy selfie rooms, – a dark and haunting Victorian-style street bench and lamppost, covered with cobwebs and black crows and the Spider Sitting Room, a spooky seat with a giant spider just waiting to get you,

Wicked Wakey visitors will also have the opportunity to see a selection of strolling acts across both days, including vampire stilt walkers, The Skeleton entertainers, and the creepy Miss Havisham.

There will also be family workshops in different locations across the centre, where all the family can unleash its creativity with glow in the dark scratch art, witch and wizard hat making and scary mask making.

If that was not enough, it’s all aboard the Tiny Train of Terror! The highlight of the event, a land train will pick up visitors and take them on a spooky ride across the city centre. Passengers will be joined on the ride by different characters who will tell them spooky tales from beyond the grave.
