The Halfpenny Lane Working Men’s Club, on Halfpenny Lane, is subject to the plans submitted by a Mr Bhart to Wakefield Council’s planning department.

As well as converting the main building into nine dwellings, the application also seeks the demolition of the single-storey extensions.

Few other details have submitted but drawings show a series of one-bedroom and two-bedroom studio apartments.
