Capri restaurant in Horbury Bridge asks Wakefield Council for licence to use car park as outdoor cinema

The restaurant is located on Bridge Road in Horbury.

Capri, in Horbury Bridge, has asked Wakefield Council for a licence to play films from the premises.

If the application is approved in its current form, the Bridge Road diner would be allowed to do so from 11am until midnight from Monday to Saturday, and from 11am until 11.30pm on Sundays.

Members of the public have until February 12 to offer comments to the council about the application.

Before Christmas, Capri's managers applied for a licence to extend their alcohol and music licences until midnight between Mondays and Saturdays.

Neighbours originally objected to that plan, citing concerns around noise disturbance.

However, those objections were later withdrawn and a public hearing to decide the issue was cancelled as a result.
