Hide AdDMS Architecture have revealed plans to change the signage on the building in a new planning application submitted to Wakefield Council this week.

The plans would see a number of changes to the building, on Ropergate, including a new shutter fitted to the courtyard entrance, metal cladding affixed to the rear of the building and the fitting of new uPVC windows and doors throughout the site.
New signs bearing the company’s logo would also be fitted to the front and sides of the site, and existing masonry cleaned and repaired.
Minor alterations would also be made to the internal layout of the building to provide a more open plan space, according to the application.
Pontefract Post Office relocated to WHSmith, on Market Place, last year, following a public consultation.
