The incident happened at around 7.45pm at Walker Street, Thornhill Lees.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said a 51-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving over the prescribed limit.
He is currently being questioned by police while enquiries take place.
Nobody was inujured in the incident.
