Wakefield Council shut Pontefract Swimming Pool and Castleford Swimming Pool on Monday because of a technical problem which could affect the water quality.
The pools in both towns reopened today (Wednesday).
Karen Collins, service director for culture and sport at Wakefield Council, said: “Due to a technical problem, potentially effecting the quality of the water, both Castleford and Pontefract pools had to be temporarily closed.
