Three men charged over Leeds murder
Detectives investigating the death of Headingley man Michael Ayres have charged three men with his murder.
Stuart Jarvis and Andrew Jenkins, aged 50 and 37 respectively and from Heights West in Armley, and Stewart Malnieks, aged 61, of Midland Road, Leeds, have also been charged with perverting the course of justice.
They have been remanded in custody to appear before Leeds magistrates today (Wednesday).
The body of Mr Ayres, who was 60, was found in Hyde Park Terrace after firefighters were called to a bin on fire at about 7pm on Saturday.
