Papua New Guinean, Garry Lo, is voluntarily speaking with officers and will therefore not figure for the upcoming home game against Wakefield Trinity.

The club’s statement reads: “Garry will be stood down for selection today, for Friday’s game.

“This is not an admission of wrongdoing but simply to ensure that Garry is able to fully co-operate with the enquiry and to ensure the best interests of everyone, including Garry, are maintained.

“There will be no further comment at this stage from the Club or player.”

The winger signed a two-year deal with Tigers in September last year and so far this season has appeared just once, scoring one try.
