Town hall glowing pink
Wakefield Town Hall is glowing pink as part of a campaign to raise awareness of breast cancer.
The city’s historic landmark, in Wood Street, has taken on the bright colour for Breast Cancer Now’s WearItPink campaign.
It aims to raise awareness of the disease and is being organised in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness month, which runs throughout October.
Wakefield Council today posted a picture of the town hall on Twitter.
