Appeal after man and woman seriously injured in HGV and Audi crash on M62
Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision which occurred on the M62.

At about 8.36am on Saturday, August 22, a yellow DAF heavy goods vehicle was in collision with a white Audi Q3 on the Eastbound carriageway, close to the slip road from the M606 at Junction 26 near Birkenshaw.
The occupants of the Audi, a 74-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The HGV driver was unhurt.

Hide AdAnyone who witnessed the collision or what happened prior to it is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or by using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
Officers would also like to hear from anyone with dashcam footage which may assist the investigation.
