Delays expected as roadworks to continue on major Wakefield road
Delays on a city centre road are expected to continue, as roadworks are carried out.

Work is being out on George Street, close to the junction with Southgate, to replace a pelican crossing with a puffin crossing.
The work is being carried out by Wakefield Council, and began this week. It is expected to continue until Friday, February 14.
Temporary traffic lights are in place while the work is carried out, and delays are likely in the area.
