Delays expected as temporary traffic lights installed on major Wakefield road
Delays are expected when temporary traffic lights are installed on a major Wakefield road next week.
Northern Gas Network are carrying out work on the A638 Doncaster Road at Crofton, close to the Cock and Crown from Monday, March 23 to Sunday, March 29.
The company said: "We are carrying out essential work to replace ageing metal gas mains in the road with more durable plastic pipes. This is to ensure that we continue to provide safe and reliable gas supplies to local residents and businesses for years to come."
Heavy traffic is expected in the area while the work is underway.
