Traffic delays expected during rush hour - Chevet Lane closed
Motorists can expect delays in Sandal.
Wakefield Council has closed Chevet Lane (B6132), between Walton Station Lane and Common Lane, because of a dangerous tree overhanging into the road.
Diversions will be in on place on Chevet Lane, Walton Station Lane (B6378) onto Greenside (B6378), Common Lane (C89) and Chevet Lane B6132.
Tree surgeons have been called but the road is expected to remain closed during Friday’s rush hour and into the evening.
