Update - Pensioner remains in hospital after blaze at Methley pub
The woman, who is in her 80s, was taken to Pinderfields Hospital by ambulance following the fire at the Mexboro Arms at 2.54pm on Monday.
Her injuries were described as “serious, but non-life threatening.”

Hide AdFirefighters from Wakefield, Castleford, Normanton and Rothwell attended the fire which damaged half of the pub.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said the crews had to rescue the woman in her 80s from the blaze and she was then taken to Pinderfields Hospital in Wakefield for treatment.
The air ambulance was called to the scene but she was taken in a road ambulance.
The spokesman said the fire was started in a stove in accommodation next to the pub.
Police closed surrounding roads for three hours whilst the fire was extinguished and to allow the woman to be rescued.
