Two seriously injured after motorbike crash

A man and woman are in a serious but stable condition after their motorbike collided with a car.

The pair were rushed to hospital after the motorbike collided with a Ford Focus as the two vehicles went around a roundabout.

Emergency services were called to the A6021 Wrangbrook Lane, South Elmsall, at around 12.45pm yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

The 44-year-old male driver of the motorbike and his 30-year-old female passenger were taken to Leeds General Infirmary.

The 49-year-old driver of the car did not sustain any injuries in the collision.
