UPDATE: Cause of Horbury bridge blaze under investigation
A fire at an empty industrial unit in Horbury Bridge is under investigation.
Firefighters were called to the Riverside Industrial Estate just after 7am this morning (Tuesday).
Crews from Ossett, Wakefield and Dewsbury stopped the blaze from spreading but the incident caused lengthy traffic delays.
A West Yorkshire and Rescue Service spokesman said the fire had spread into the roof of the unit.
He said “No one was injured and enquiries to establish the cause of the fire are on-going.”
